Dabbang 1 director Abhinav Kashyap, younger brother of Anurag Kashyap, has penned down a post, in which he has called out the Bollywood industry for their alleged role in the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, and has also accused Salman Khan and family for sabotaging his career.
Sushant’s death has left everybody in a state of shock. The entire country is mourning the loss of such a talented and bright star. People can’t help but wonder, what could have possibly driven Sushant to take his own life? This has led to various discussions on social media. Many people are blaming some of the big names in the industry who are accused of unfairly sabotaging careers of struggling actors. The news of production houses and big directors boycotting and isolating Sushant Singh is also doing rounds on the internet. In the midst of this, Abhinav Kashyap has penned down a long post on facebook, in which he has called out Salman Khan and his family for trying to ruin his career.
Abhinav began his post by writing, “My appeal to the Government to launch a detailed investigation. I fear his death is just the tip of the of the iceberg just like the #metoo movement was for a much bigger malaise in Bollywood.” He further explained in detail the machinations of talent managers and production houses in Bollywood. He wrote, “These people don’t make careers. They ruin your career and life. Having suffered personally for a decade, I can confidently say all Talent Management agencies are a death trap for artists.”
Sharing his own personal experience, he revealed how Salman Khan and his family tried to sabotage Abhinav’s career. “I know who my enemies are. Let it be known that they are Salim Khan, Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan,” wrote Abhinav. He also alleged that he received threats from the Khan family.
He revealed that Salman and his brothers, Arbaaz and Sohail, “tried to take control of (his) career by bullying” him. Read his entire post where he explains in detail how his career was almost ruined by Salman and his brothers:
Abhinav ended his post by writing, “Enough tolerance. It’s time to fight back. This is not a threat, it’s an open challenge. I will make sure that no more innocent will kill himself over lack of work and dignity in Bollywood.”
This is not the first time Salman Khan has been accused of sabotaging someone’s career in Bollywood. He has allegedly tried to sabotage the careers of Vivek Oberoi and Arijit Singh in the past. Salman has also been receiving major hate in the comment section of his tweet about Sushant.
The many posts referring to the film industry’s alleged role in alienating and isolating Sushant Singh Rajput have appeared to have been noted. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh announced that the police investigation into the actor’s death will also probe reports that professional rivalry was a factor.
