After Sonu Nigam threatened to expose T-Series chairman and MD Bhushan Kumar, his wife Divya Khosla Kumar jumped to his defence. In her Instagram stories, she called Sonu Nigam ‘Thankless’ and accused him of selling lies. Tagging Sonu Nigam, she wrote, “Today, it’s all about who can run a campaign…. I’m even seeing people being able to sell lies and deceit with their strong campaigns. Such kind of people know how to play with the minds of the audience.”
She accused Sonu Nigam of trying to get publicity by targeting her husband. She pointed out that it was T-Series that gave him a break and brought him into the industry. She wrote, “Agar Aapko itni hi Khundas thi Bhushan se toh pehle kyun nahi bole? Aaj publicity ke liye kyun kar rahe hai? (if you had this much of a problem with Bhushan, why didn’t you talk about it earlier? Why are you doing it now for publicity?)” In the end she even wrote #achasiladiyatunemerepyaarka.
A few days back, Sonu Nigam had accused Bhushan of being the ‘mafia’ in Bollywood music industry. Sonu accused Bhushan of planting articles about him in the media and convincing musicians to give interviews against him. “Have you forgotten about that time when you came to my house and begged me to do an album for your channel? You have messed with the wrong man.” The singer also warned him to stay away from him or he would release the video of Marina Kuwar on his YouTube channel.
