“#IndiaTogether” became a top trend after Rihanna’s tweet on farmer protest

American pop star Rihanna’s recent tweet surrounding the farmer’s protest in India has stormed the whole twitter.

Mobile internet service was suspended in three areas in Delhi, where thousands of farmers are campaing to protest against the new law. The government said that they shutdown the internet servive to maintain public safety.

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut trashes out on Rihanna for her tweet. Kangana called her “fool” for tweeting on something the actor called an attempt “to divide India”. Kangana clamied “No one is talking about it because they are not farmers they are terrorists who are trying to divide India so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like the USA… Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies.”

And now several Bollywood celebrities have now come ahead to express their opinion on this topic, till now they had reserved comments for an issue. From Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan to Suniel Shetty and Ekta Kapoor, several stars from the world have come ahead and have expressed their view on the farmers protest.

Farmers have been protesting on the different borders of the national capital since November 26 last year against the three newly enacted farm laws: Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; the Farmers Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and farm Services Act 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020. 

Hers is what all the Bollywood stars wrote about the farmers protest after Rihanna’s now-viral tweet:

1. Karan Johar

“We live in turbulent times and the need of the hour is prudence and patience at every turn. Let us together, make every effort we can to find solutions that work for everyone—our farmers are the backbone of India. Let us not let anyone divide us. #IndiaTogether,” Karan Johar tweeted.

2. Akshay Kumar

“Farmers constitute an extremely important part of our country. And the efforts being undertaken to resolve their issues are evident. Let’s support an amicable resolution, rather than paying attention to anyone creating differences. Folded hands#IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda,” Akshay Kumar tweeted.

3. Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn wrote on Twitter, “Don’t fall for any false propaganda against India or Indian policies. Its important to stand united at this hour w/o any infighting Folded hands #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda.”

4. Suniel Shetty

Suniel Shetty wrote, “We must always take a comprehensive view of things, as there is nothing more dangerous than half truth. #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda @hiteshjain33.”

5. Ekta Kapoor

“Let’s stand united against any propaganda. Together we can and we will! #IndiaAgainstPropoganda #IndiaTogether,” Ekta Kapoor wrote on Twitter.
