The demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has reignited the debate on nepotism and favoritism in the industry. Due to this, many famous families of Bollywood, including the Bhatt family, have come under fire. Alia Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Karan Johar, and many others are being trolled on social media. They are receiving major hate from netizens. Kangana Ranaut had also taken up the issue and questioned why Sushant’s work wasn’t rewarded by award shows. She also slammed Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt for alleging that Sushant Singh Rajput was suffering from a rather severe mental illness. She said that they had even said the same things for her predicting a ‘tragic’ end after the whole controversy with Hrithik Roshan. Responding to these allegations, Pooja Bhatt, daughter of Mahesh Bhatt, recently took to her Twitter to talk about how her family’s production house, Vishesh Films has launched many newcomers. She also took credit for launching Kangana Ranaut with Gangster.
Kangana took to her team’s official twitter account to respond to Pooja’s claims. She slammed Pooja Bhatt and mentioned in a series of tweets how Mahesh Bhatt did not treat her properly. She alleged that Mahesh Bhatt threw ‘chappals’ at her. “Everyone knows Mukesh Bhatt does not like to pay artists, to get talented people for free is a favour many studios do on themselves but that doesn’t give your father a license to throw chappals at her,” Kangana’s team wrote in one of the tweets.
The tweets further revealed that Mahesh Bhatt “called her mad, humiliated her and announced her ‘tragic end’.” She asked Pooja to question her father about his keen interest in Sushant and Rhea’s relationship. “Why did he announce his end too, some of the questions you must ask him,” she wrote.
She ended the tweets by pointing out that she has also auditioned for Pokiri, which went on to become an all time blockbuster. She wrote, “Kangana had also auditioned for Pokiri, alongside gangster and got selected for that as well. Pokiri went on to become an all time blockbuster, so your thinking that because of Gangster she is who she is, is totally not working. Water finds it’s level.”
