The much anticipated trailer of Sushant Singh Rajput’s Dil Bechara dropped on social media yesterday. The trailer left everyone teary-eyed and in awe of the late actor. With heavy hearts, people saw Sushant on screen for one last time as he portrayed the role of Rajkumar junior or Manny along with debutant Sanjana Sanghi, who portrays the character of Kizie Basu. Dil Bechara is a remake of the John Green novel, which also had a film adaptation, The Fault In Our Stars. Dil Bechara will be available to stream from July 24 on Disney Plus Hotstar.
The trailer was one of the most anticipated trailers of all time, and thus it came as no surprise when it broke all the records and became the most-liked trailer on YouTube in less than 24 hours. The trailer got more than 5.6 million likes in less than 24 hours, more than the trailers of two of all-time biggest blockbusters- Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. The first and second Avengers trailers currently sit at 3.2 million and 2.9 million likes on YouTube, respectively. The video has also received over 25 million views. It is to be noted that these views and likes are merely on Fox Star Hindi’s YouTube channel, and that the trailer is bagging more views and likes on other social media platforms including Instagram.
