While talking about it, she decided to drag Salman Khan into the discussion. A video was shared of a famous tiktoker by the name of Faizal Siddiqui,in which he can be seen beating his girlfriend for rejecting his love. Tweeting about it, Sona said, “Demeaning women is normalised in our culture. We grew up with stories of Salman Khan breaking bottles on his girlfriend’s head in public, yet the country’s biggest star?”

Before this, another video of the same guy had surfaced online in which he was seen throwing an acid like substance onto a girl’s face, causing her damage. A lot of people are believing that this video glorifies acid attacks. A person tried to defend this tiktoker, saying that it was just water and not acid. Sona replied to this person as well in the same tweet, writing, “Nothing before and after the ‘spliced’ video you were defending of this guy could justify it.”
